The NW Synod of the ELCA is trying something new this year in lieu of an assembly! They are hosting a day for people to gather for conversation, learning and worship around the theme, “Who is my neighbor?” Choose three forums to attend throughout the day, featuring 16+ topics to help us discover and explore what it means to be a neighbor. A sampling of the different forums offered: “Am I Your Neighbor?” by Chasity Jones and Giavonna White (who have spoken at COH before! Go, Chasity and Gigi!); “Building Brighter Futures for Foster Kids” by Paul Tan, MDiv; “Justice Advocacy, Neighbor Love” by leaders of Faith Action Network; “Re-Membering Ourselves as Neighbors with Muslims” by the Rev.
